The crowning and anointing 1804 December 2nd of Napoléon 1st in the cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris by the Pope Pius 7th himself has been immortalized by the painter David.

Les Etains du Prince reproduced faithfully this fabulous ceremony, respecting all the somptuous details of the picture.

The realization of the maquette required more than 2000 working-hours from our designer. The rubber-mould for the pewter measured more than one meter dia and its weight was about 35 kg. The accessories were gild and enhanced with Swarovski crystals.
